2nd Amendment

Mark has been a fierce fighter for the 2nd Amendment, as was seen in his Greensboro City Council speech. Since then he has continued to stand for the 2nd Amendment, serving on the Board of Directors for the NRA.

Pro- Life

Mark grew up as the 9th of 10 siblings. In poverty, and with an abusive alcoholic father, he ended up in foster care. The radical left believes stories like his should not exist because low income families should abort their babies rather than giving them the opportunity to grow up in sub- optimal conditions. As a Christian, Mark will honor the sanctity of life.

Education

Mark believes that education is one of the most important issues that our state faces today. He believes that education should be just that, education; Indoctrination in our public schools must end. Mark advocates for parents having the decision in how and where their children are educated and supports school choice. As a part of supporting school choice, he believes that we should continue and strengthen opportunity scholarship programs which allows students of lower economic statuses to have the opportunity to go to a school outside of the public school system and to receive financial assistance to do so.

Jobs

Mark knows what it’s like for NAFTA to gut wages and take jobs, he experienced that himself. He experienced this twice, with the second company moving to Mexico. Mark will fight for workers across North Carolina to make sure they have jobs to support their families.

Immigration

Mark will always affirm and congratulate those who come here legally. However, he does not support those who illegally come across the border. It is a crime to do so, and should be treated as such. Sanctuary cities within our state are dangerous and disproportionately affect low income areas. Mark will stand up against sanctuary cities.

Veterans

As a veteran, Mark will fight for those who have given themselves to serve this country. Our veterans deserve to be taken care of, and Mark will not simply talk about getting results, he will do it. He believes that in the same way there was no expense spared to send them off, we should not spare any expense to take care of them when they come home and need help.

Voter ID

In 2018, 55% of North Carolinians voted for an amendment which would require ID to be shown in order to vote. After this amendment passed, activist judges

Economy

As someone that has owned a small business, Mark understands less taxes and regulations means business owners can hire more employees and invest more into their communities.

Mark, you are a baby. You — or someone in your campaign — blocked me from your FB page because I disagree with some things you say and debate with your supporters. Is this Stalinist Russia?! Are you afraid of hearing criticism? Have some guts and unblock. See you in November, either way.

Deborah Nott, I also agree with you 1000% that ensuring unwanted pregnancies don’t occur in the first place is crucial.

Deborah Nott, I am not debating anything that you’ve said, but absolutely none of that addresses my point, which was that the statement on his issues page massively misrepresents the stance of his opposition. In reading about his upbringing and character, it’s possible he’s listened to a campaign handler who is leading him astray. It’s not necessary to depict his opposition in such an egregously false way – I’m sure he can successfully rely on the difference between their ACTUAL stance and his own on the issues, and on his own character to gain supporters and votes. Character counts.

I appreciate your instinct to defend Mark Robinson, but frankly no one can address the decision to include these blatantly incorrect statements on his website except the candidate himself.

Mark, I’m glad you are standing up for the lives of the unborn . My goal is to bring to light the core problem and empower women to take a stand for themselves before they find themselves in a situation of an unwanted pregnancy. Politicians are all about 30,000 ways to put out fires and never concentrate on the root cause of the fire to begin with. As far a D A Nobles comment, If the left didn’t believe anyone should abort their babies they would be doing more to make sure it didn’t happen in the first place. They do more to stand up for a woman’s right to use abortion as a form of birth control and disregard the rights of the unborn child in the womb. They should also be thinking about how that will effect that mother after the fact. They made abortion legal and walked away thinking problem solved. Well it’s not solved…it’s another “solution” that causes more destruction. Don’t be afraid to stand up for what’s right.

Mark, you seem to be a genuine, hardworking man with an incredible life story. I would really like to see you correct an incorrect statement in your Pro-Life entry on your Issues page. There it says “The radical left believes stories like his should not exist because low income families should abort their babies rather than giving them the opportunity to grow up in sub- optimal conditions.” The “left” does not believe anyone should abort their babies. They believe women should make that decision privately with their doctors. It’s entirely reasonable that a Pro Life proponent would believe this is wrong headed, but there’s no reason to take the opposition’s stance, and misrepresent it. Your story and your perseverence speak for itself. You don’t need to resort to untruths spread by the radical Right.

Mark, you are exactly what we need. A no nonsense man who knows what this country stands for. You are just what we need at this time in our state where our leaders are trying to do away with our rights. Bless you Mark.

    Dear Mary Wallman and Mark
I was a high school counselor and I am a trained gun owner. My family is attornys and police officiers. I am with you when it comes to not selling military style weapons or bump stocks like the Las Vegas shooter had. Just for future reference an AR 15 stands for Armalite 15. it is not a machine gun, or an automatic weapon or and assult weapon. I took a class from the Secret Service on how to Spot a school shooter after Columbine and I have dealt with alot of students with mental issues and one that I reported as a possible future shooter. Kids were picking on him and he was stalking a girl that kept rejecting him. The problem is the MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM. Even my family doctor made this statement to me. There used to be a place for minors that should not be in the general public but there really isn’t anymore. The cute persoanable boy I reported had been moved to our school because the teachers were afraid of him I found out after we had an incident. Plus I found out he had been in mental health care before all of this happened. After I reported what I though two days later he stood up on a lunch table talking crazy reached in his pocket for a pencil but a student yelled he’s got a gun and panic insued. Thank goodness it wasn’t a gun. They took him to mental healther and he was back in school two days later. They just moved him to another school. I have had police officiers tell me it is up to us to protect ourselves and our families because they get there after the incident is over. Criminals don’t get guns legally. Most shooters go to places that guns aren’t allowed. Even if we did away with guns my students would find another way to hurt people just like the guy that knived those people in London yesterday. They would bring knives, build bombs or run people over in the parking lot. Like guns these things are weapons.
You would not believe how disrespectful kids are now. I am surprised we have any teachers left. School staff is over worked and underpaid so it can be hard to keep a handle on bullying issues which is what sparks alot of school shooters. I do worry about the safety of our schools and believe every teacher should have the ability to secure their door in an actice threat mode but in a way that a student can’t lock them selves in the room. I am not sure what the answer is but I pray alot for our eleceted officials , our schools and America.

Hello Sir, I don’t believe what you say about the radical left preferring abortion to solid families that are healthy, or such families like your own who weren’t so solid. I commend you for your success, and hope you realize that those socialist programs helped you and you couldn’t have done without them. Hear, here!

Hello Sir, can you address how
thorough regulations and thorough background checks will save lives from guns owned and used by the mentally ill and lawless people so that society will be protected? I believe in gun rights, but don’t agree that machine guns like AR-15s are necessary for citizens to buy.

Mark, Can you address why NC taxes Disabled Veterans pension and disability checks? These veterans already paid their taxes in full when they swore to the protect and defend the State and Federal constitutions and returned from war mentally and physically broken. It’s the least the citizens can do for these brave men and women!

Don’t our public schools allow every child to attend? Our education problem is with the school boards and the NEA. Subjects should be reading, writing, and arithmetic, history, and civics. Instead, it’s diversity, women’s issues, etc. Totally useless. Our schools have become propaganda institutions for liberals.
