Meet Mark

Mark grew up poor in Greensboro, North Carolina as the ninth of ten children in a green shingled house with a red roof. His father was an abusive alcoholic. Their house had no heat, no AC, and didn’t even have a shower for them to wash.

As a child, Mark ended up in the foster care system. He and two of his brothers went to the same home where they were fortunate to end up with a caring family. Some of his siblings were not so lucky, and ended up in abusive situations. Mark and his siblings were able to move back in with their mother eventually, who was a devout woman of faith, and he credits his mother as being the reason he is the man he is today. She taught him about the Bible, and always told her children they could be whatever they put their minds to.

Towards the end of high school, Mark joined the Army reserves where he served as a medical specialist for three years. After high school he went to NC A&T and while there, worked at a factory. Mark planned on staying at this factory and working his way up, and possibly even retiring with the company, but it wasn’t to be.

While he was working there, NAFTA was implemented, and his job like so many others had wages cut. They were cut so badly in fact, he ended up leaving. After that, he worked at a restaurant as a shift worker before becoming the general manager there, and served in that role for five years. During that time, his wife Yolonda started a day care center which grew rapidly, requiring them to acquire a new building.

Eventually, Mark left his job to work at the center where he taught children and cared for them. After eight years, they decided to sell the business, and Mark went back to work at a furniture factory. While there he attended UNCG, studying history. However, this factory job would also cease to exist when the owners decided to move the plant to Mexico, leaving Mark and dozens of others without jobs. He eventually got a new job at a different furniture factory, and had plans to pursue a full- time teaching career, getting his masters and then PHD so that he could become a professor, but it was not to be.

On April 3, 2018, Mark’s life changed when he stood up against the Greensboro City Council in a speech which has been seen over 150,000,000 times. Since that speech, he has served on the NRA National Outreach Board, has appeared on Fox and Friends, has been interviewed by Lara Trump, and traveled the state and nation spreading the conservative message.

Mark resides in Greensboro and is happily married to his wife Yolonda, and has two kids, and a grandchild.

I’ve gotten tired of voting as I’ve lost all respect for politicians. I saw your video and if you’re still the same man from that video I would definitely vote for you when you run for president.

Hey Jim I can tell you Mark is a supporter of voter ID and keeping the right to vote protected from voter fraud that comes without requirements of voter ID. They are many videos of Marks stand for voter ID requirements. The videos are Mark actually speaking his stance. Thanks PLEASE GET THE WORD OUT TO PEOPLE TO SUPPORT MARK AND VOTE.

I first observed Mark in the video of his discourse with the city council. I had no idea at the time that this took place in Greensboro or even North Carolina. I am so happy that it did, and that Mark is now running for office. I can recall telling my wife at the time I watched the video, that if that guy ever decides to run for political office, he’s got my vote because he articulated so many of the things that those of us law-abiding “common folks” feel. I am also gratified to hear of his position on the economy and philosophy that made this country great. We now seem to treat capitalism as a dirty word so often, and yet it is the ONLY economic philosophy on the planet with consistent success, and that does not create an undue and usually bloated government structure of interference. We need people like Mark to speak out against the foolishness that is currently in vogue among so many, and in particular those who seem to hold so much influence over our young people. When I am questioned about who we have available as a choice in local government that supports our values, I will be speaking of Mark.

Thanks to Kevin Walker and every person who’s supporting Mark for Lt. Governor. Mark, above all others, and to the extend he’s able, will put the leash back on government and make them adhere to the NC and US Constitutions. Shrinking the size and scope of government returns the power to us as it was always intended. We cannot outsmart our Founding Fathers, who, in their wisdom and understanding of human nature, forewarned about the dangers of greedy men and big government to our Republic. Mark Robinson gets it and he will restore honor to those men who conceived this nation and brought forth the greatest nation on earth. God Bless Mr. Robinson and God Bless America!

Met Mark today in Cape Carteret. Very impressed with this courageous Conservative Republican. He spoke for 45 minutes with no notes. His beliefs and values align with mine. He’s been to 60 counties with 40 more to go. If he’s coming to a location near you, I’d encourage you to go. He has my support and vote.

I actually saw him speak and was very impressed with what he had to say. We need more people like him because the democrats certainly don’t believe in our Constitution. They are trying to destroy everything our forefathers created.
