Over the last month, we have seen several healthcare providers in North Carolina start requiring all their employees to become vaccinated. Just a week ago, North Carolina's health department told workers in state-run healthcare facilities to be fully vaccinated by September 30th.
It is a shame that the medical professionals we hailed as heroes throughout this pandemic are now not allowed to make a crucial choice concerning their own healthcare. I have always advocated that those who want the vaccine should have every opportunity to become vaccinated. However, we should not be mandating or forcing individuals to take part in what needs to be their choice.
Will you stand with me in telling these healthcare providers to stop the mandates on their employees?
